NEW! 800W or 1500W braked power bogie for 7.25 inch gauge.
These bogies are the same, proven design (just higher power) as the sprinter bogies.
The bogies use our new EMD type 400W motor or the 750W motor. Regardless of which power level you choose the bogies are identical to look at as the 750W motors are just a more powerful (albeit slightly faster) version of our 400W motor in the same physical package.
Included in the price is a full powered bogie, set to the speed you choose (dependant on the motors used). With the speed controller(s) you require and a handset as well as a diaphragm and the brake arms, although no brake operating system is offered. 30 psi is recommended.
The bogies are designed for 1/4 ton load but springing can be altered for less.
Complete with drop off bar to protect diaphragm and motors.
The main beauty of these bogies is the fact that everything is below the bolster level. The bolster bar is supplied with mounting studs.
All our accessories such as horn, dynamic braking etc. can be added.
They measure 22 inches (559mm) long, 12 inches (305mm) wide and 6 inches (152mm) high. |

Available in the following speeds as standard, however with a little juggling with the sprockets we should be able to get anywhere between these :- · 7.5mph · 8.5mph · 9.5mph · 10.3mph We don’t recommend an increase beyond 10mph as motors prefer to be run at full speed and most tracks don't exceed 10mph.
A 24v 100A speed controller and a standard handset is also supplied £850
