We are now able to offer locomotive servicing and fitting for electric locomotives up to 7.25” gauge.

 

The service for a loco consists of the following checks,:-

 

wheel profile, gear mesh, chain alignment, chain tension, motor condition, controller condition, bearing condition, brake checks and to generally ensure all parts have the movement they require.

 

For the service we charge by the axle:-

           2 axle loco  £75.00

           3 axle loco  £85.00

           4 axle loco  £110.00

           6 axle loco  £130.00

 

Please be aware that if you just turn up with a loco you will be turned away, ensure you contact us and  book a date. pselectronics@btinternet.com

 

If we believe any parts need replacing or altering we will contact you and provide a quote, we  will check all running systems but will only repair our own products.

 

 

We will also install the electronics to any loco provided the mechanical side is already done. i.e. Motors are in position etc. We will only install our own products. We will provide a quote for any installation.

If we are to look over a loco to provide a quote  (If you bring your loco here for us to look at) there will be a charge of £20.00
